Arnold B. Liebrecht, 78, of Delphos, died at 5:45 a.m. Tuesday at Vancrest Healthcare Center.
He was born Dec. 17, 1933, in Ottoville to Arnold and Mary Miller Liebrecht, who preceded him in death.
He married Agnes Falke, who died Jan. 3, 2003. On Nov. 26, 2004, he married Ruth Hemker Baldauf, who survives in Delphos.
Survivors also include sons David (Elaine) Liebrecht of Springboro, Don (Barb) Liebrecht of West Dundee, Ill. and John (Sharon) Liebrecht of Pataskala; stepchildren Michael (Lori) Baldauf of Delphos, Ronald Baldauf of Kalida, David Baldauf and Virginia (Larry) Cress of Lima and Lisa (Don) Finn of Toledo; grandchildren Drew Liebrecht, Alex Liebrecht, Brian Liebrecht, Jessica (Justin) McClintock and Ryan (Lara) Verbecken; and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. Liebrecht retired as a high-low driver from Ford Motor Co. Lima Engine Plant after 30 years. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 471. He enjoyed golfing and woodworking.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, the Rev. Melvin Verhoff officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Harter and Schier Funeral Home, where a parish wake begins at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Foundation.

Raymond Ward, 79, of Lima, died at 11:10 p.m. Thursday at Baton Rouge Senior Health Service Community.
He was born Oct. 30, 1932, in Van Wert, to George A. and Geneva B. Pullack Ward, who preceded him in death.
He married Betty White, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include a son, Michael (Tracy), of Covington, Ky.; a grandson, Michael; and three step grandchildren, Tim, Chelsea and Katlyn.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Mr. Ward had been a civil service employee. He was an Army veteran. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3035 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370, America Legion Post 96 and the Korean War Veterans. He enjoyed all kinds of sales, especially garage sales and auctions.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at Harter and Schier Funeral Home, Pastor Wayne Prator will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Mennonite Cemetery with military rites by Delphos Veterans Council.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

William “Skeeter” E. Moore, 83, of Defiance, died Sunday at Glenn Park of Defiance.

He was born April 26, 1929, in Defiance, to Mitchell and Elva (Byers) Moore.

Survivors include daughters Sherry (Richard) Laurie of Guelph, Ontario and Barbara (Roger) LaForce of Talbott, Tenn.; sister Margaret Wiseman of Ocala, Fla.; stepgrandson Jamie LaForce; grandchildren Heather and Jennifer Laurie and Corey Wagner; and great granddaughter Darrian Wagner.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Mitchell Moore, Jr.

Mr. Moore was a United States Army veteran who retired from the Lima Ford Engine Plant in 1991 after 16 years of employment there. He had also been employed with Pepsi in Bryan and Bunny Bread in Defiance. He was a 1947 Defiance High School graduate.

Family-only interment services will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Defiance. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Lawson-Roessner Funeral Home at 1753 S. Clinton St. in Defiance.

Timothy John Seibert, 45, of Van Wert, died Friday at his residence.
He was born Sept. 26, 1966, in Lima, to Robert and Dorothy (Stant) Seibert. His father preceded in death and his mother survives in Van Wert.
Other survivors include sons Chad M. Fowler and Johnathon, Robbie, Benjamin, David and Dylann Seibert, all of Van Wert; sisters Rita (Jake) Fowler and Marcia (John) Johnson, both of Van Wert; brothers Robert (Rhonda) and Paul (Jennifer) Seibert of Van Wert and Doug (Annette) Seibert of Scott; sister-in-law Christina (Billy) Gann of Van Wert; brother-in-law Gregory I. (Miranda) Sterling of Lima; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Robbie Paul Seibert.
Mr. Seibert had worked for Quality Services in Van Wert. He loved his family most of all but also loved classic cars, guitars and Randy Travis music.
Funeral services begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Harter and Schier Funeral Home with burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

George D. Abbott, 66, of rural Nevada, Ohio, died at 8:10 a.m. Sunday at Bucyrus Community Hospital.
He was born on May 22, 1946 in LaRue, Ohio to George A. and Edna (Armstrong) Abbott. His father is deceased and his mother survives in rural Nevada.
He married Cathy Clapp on March 17, 1968 in Delphos, Ohio and she survives.
Also surviving are children Robert (Tammy) Abbott of Nevada and Beckie (Jim) Shuck of Upper Sandusky; grandchildren Ellie Abbott, Levi Abbott, Mary Shuck, Cassie Shuck and Natalie Shuck; sisters Mary Paynter of Florida, Audrey (Ron) Ault of Galion and Velma Potts of Nevada; and “adopted” sons, Paul England and Billie Beltz who who spent a lot of time at the family home growing up.
He was preceded in death by his father; and two brothers, Roger and Bill Abbott.
Mr. Abbott was the founder and owner of Abbott’s Auctions in Nevada that he ran along with his son, Rob for many years. He also had worked for the former Eaton Axle Corporation in Marion retiring in 2008.
He was a member of the Nevada United Methodist Church and Nevada Masonic Lodge #343. He enjoyed being outside, whether hunting or fishing or just working in the yard or garden. He constantly kept himself busy always being on the move doing something.
He will be remembered by his love for his wife, children, grandchildren, his mother and siblings, whom he cherished, along with his appreciation and fondness for all his friends in this community who made his life complete. He never knew a stranger and touched many he came in contact with during his journey here on earth.
Funeral services begin at 11a.m. Friday at the Nevada United Methodist Church. The Rev’s Matt Garrabrant, Brian Spangler, Carl Angel and Rex King will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date.
Visitations will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky with a Masonic Memorial service at 8 p.m. and for an hour before the service at the church on Friday.

Eyden Mathew Shellenbarger, 20 days, died at 12:12 a.m. Thursday at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.
He was born June 29, 2012, at Toledo Children’s Hospital, to Myndi Shellenbarger and Jeremy Busbey, who survive.
Survivors also include sisters Mcaila, Aubriey, Adisyn and Mackenzie; brother Jayven; maternal grandparents Kim “Nana” and Randy “Old Man” Shellenbarger; paternal grandparents Denise Barker and James Busbey; great-grandparents Barb and Doug Ford, Dixie and Bob Shellenbarger and Bill and Syble Cummings; great-great-grandmother Iva Lee Jividen; great-aunts Lisa Shellenbarger, Angie and Hope; great-uncle Dougie; aunts and uncles Jessyca, Ty, Shyan, Jamie, James, Jalisha, Andrea and Rick; and cousins Shannon, Allie, T.J., Andrew, Blake, Melaina, Whitney, Elliot, Josh and Nicole.
Eyden was a precious miracle fighter. He fought for more than 18 days to stay here. We have never met a stronger person who changed so many lives. He had Trisomy 13 and fought longer than most kids born with this. He was finally tired of fighting and went to Heaven and is now in the arms of our wonderful Lord in a place free of struggle and pain. We love you, buddy, and will see you again at Heaven’s gates.
The family will hold a happy heaven day celebration dinner from 1 to 3 p.m. today at Westgate Entertainment Center in Lima.
A celebration of life will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday at Harter and Schier Funeral Home, the Rev. Stuart Wyatt officiating.
Friends may call one hour prior to services Sunday at the funeral home and following the services at the Firemen’s Park in Delphos, where a balloon release will be held at 3:01 p.m. Cotton candy, slushies and a blow-up house will be ready for the kids at the balloon release.

Sharon M. Bruskotter, 70, of Van Wert died Tuesday, July 25, 2012 at her residence.
She was born Aug. 7, 1941 in Lima to the late Leander and Lena (Ricker) Bruskotter.
She is survived by two brothers, Leonard (Leona) Bruskotter and Donald (Carol) Bruskotter of Ft. Jennings; a sister, Audrey (Don) Weber of Estes Park, Colo.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Doyle and Ruth Bruskotter.
Ms. Bruskotter was a massage therapist with Community Health Professionals in Van Wert. After graduating from Fort Jennings High School, she entered the Ursula Convent in 1961 where she was a member of the community for 23 years, during which she taught in numerous catholic schools. Later in her career, she devoted her practice of massage therapy to the comfort and care of hospice patients. She was a member of St. Mary of The Assumption Catholic Church in Van Wert.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fort Jennings with the Rev. Joseph Przybysz officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday at Love-Heitmeyer Funeral Home, Jackson Township (at the corner of St. Rts. 224 & 634) and one hour prior to the mass at church on Saturday.

Ted L. Ladd, 70, of Houma, La., passed away Monday at the Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma. 
He was born in Delphos to Lawrence and Thelma (May) Ladd, who preceded him in death. 
Surviving are sons, Andrew Ladd of Lafayette, Ind., and Roy Ladd of Midland, Mich.; daughter, Paula Kern; six grandchildren; three brothers, Kenneth Ladd of Wauseon, Dale Ladd of Wharton and Arthur Ladd of North Carolina; and one sister, June Dunlap of Delphos.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Ladd  had worked as a carpenter.
Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in the Zion Bloom Cemetery in Hancock County.

Survivors include sons Jerry (Donna) Sampson of Reynoldsburg, Charles “Mike” (Kristine) Sampson of Suwanee, Ga., and Gregory Sampson of Miller Beach, Ind.; daughter Jenelle (Scott) Aldrich of Delphos; brothers Allan (Mary Lee) Hall of Lima and Grover “Butch” (Pat Covalt) Hall of Centennial, Colo.; stepbrother Glen (Elizabeth) Eley of Lima; stepsisters Carol Ann Haines of Columbus Grove and Linda (Rick) Hackworth of Lima; a stepdaughter-in-law, Brenda DeLong; and nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by brother Gary (Cindy) Hall; sister Rosanna (Paul) Wolfe; stepbrother Charles Eley; and stepson, Gene DeLong.
Mrs. DeLong retired from Eaton Corp. after 24 years. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. today at Harter and Schier Funeral Home, the Rev. Angela T. Khabeb officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Anna Mae Alles, 90, of  Columbia City, Ind., died at 8:21 a.m. Tuesday at Renaissance Village where she had been a resident since March 11, 2011.
She was born Jan. 21, 1922, in Cincinnati to Carl H. and Martha M. (Wiemeyer) Maas.
On June 6, 1942 she was united in marriage to Herbert J. Alles. They spent most of the married life together in Whitley County. Mr. Alles died Feb. 14, 1992.
Surviving relatives include eight children, Marilyn (Rick) Krom of Albion, Ind., Ted (Becky) Alles of Milford, Ind., Beverly (Walter) Rectenwald of Fort Wayne, Larry (Patricia) Alles of Columbia City, Francis (Mary Jo) Alles of Columbia City, Douglas Alles of Fort Wayne, Renee (Tony) Reid of Haviland and Julie (Sam) Landis of Columbia City; 21 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Nichols of Delphos.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Carl, Herbert, Harold, Melvin and Norbert; and three sisters, Margaret Hoffman, Rita Hoffman and an infant sister.
Most of Alles’s formative years were spent in Delphos. A homemaker, her memberships include St. Catherine Nix Settlement Catholic Church and its Rosary Society.
Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at St. Catherine Nix Settlement Reception Hall, 1000 South and State Road 9, Columbia City with the Rosary to follow, followed by the funeral mass in the church. Burial will be in St. Catherine Nix Settlement Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are to Masses or donor’s favorite charity.
Arrangements are being completed by Smith & Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City.

He was born on Feb. 24, 1929, in Ottoville to the now deceased Louis B. and Anna (Kemper) Ricker.
On Nov. 29, 2000, he married Jeanette (Wott) Liebold, who survives.
Survivors also include four children, Carolyn (Larry) Miller and Susan (Tom) McClanahan of Columbus, Steve (Amy) Ricker of Toledo and Kenneth (Patricia) Ricker of Perrysburg; stepchildren, Dwayne (Renae’) Corbin of Fairborn, Deb (Ken) Hossler of Bellevue, Robert (Tricia) Liebold of Clyde, Eric (Michelle) Liebold of Green Springs and Trent Liebold of Clyde; the mother of his children, the former Patricia Rogers, whom he married on July 16, 1949; a sister, Mary Grothouse of Delphos; a brother, Harold Ricker of Tallahassee; grandchildren, James, Kevin, Richard, Jennifer, Stephanie, Jaimie, Samantha, Joshua, Katie, Christopher, Cayla, Carah, Chloe, Dalton, Jasmine, Tabitha, and Harmon; and great-grandchildren, Ethan, Jacob, Dylan, Brandon, Corey, Derek, Regan, Adayla, and Hunter.
He was preceded in death by his second wife, Marjorie Corbin Ricker, whom he married on Oct. 23, 1987, and she preceded him on July 20, 1997; his siblings, Emma Fostor, Isadore Ricker, Alfred Ricker, Gilbert Ricker, Rita Steinbrenner, Marcus Ricker and Rose Mary Ricker.
Mr. Ricker graduated from Ottoville High School in 1947 and served in the Army following WWII. He retired from Whirlpool Corp in 1984 after 34 years of service. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Clyde; Clyde Eagles; a Charter Member of the former Clyde JC’s where he served as treasurer and secretary; formerly served on the Board of Directors at Clyde-Findlay Credit Union and Whirlpool Management Club.
Memorials are to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or Hospice of Memorial Hospital.

She was born Nov. 29, 1939, in Delphos to LeRoy Robert and Rita Helen Bendele Stant, who preceded her in death.
On Dec. 23, 1960, she married Robert L. Seibert, who died March 18, 2012.
Mrs. Seibert enjoyed her family, bingo, friends, playing poker and watching NASCAR races, Hazel and the 700 Club.
Survivors include children Rita A. (Jake) Fowler and Robert E. (Rhonda) Seibert, both of Van Wert, Doug A. (Annette) Seibert of Scott and Marcia T. (John) Johnson and Paul L. (Jennifer) Seibert, both of Van Wert; daughter-in-law Valarie H. Seibert of Van Wert; and four brothers, four sisters, 13 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two special friends of the family.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Robbie Paul and Timothy Seibert; a sister, Betty Stant Burwell; and two brothers, Tom and Bill Stant.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John the Evangelist Church, the Rev. Stanley Szybka officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She was born June 22, 1922, in Delphos to Benjamin and Ethyl (Miller) Etgen, who are both deceased.
Her husband, Lonnie Lambert, who she married on March 27, 1942, preceded her in death on Feb. 25, 2009.
Survivors include two nephews, Raymond Etgen and Larry Etgen. two great-nephews, Raymond Etgen and Ben Etgen; and two great-nieces, Lindi Coil and Jodi Spear
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Etgen; and a great-nephew, David Etgen.
Mrs. Lambert had worked at the former Van Wert Manufacturing Co. and had been a cook at Lincolnview Schools.
Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Brickner Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery.
